Osasuna

• Osasuna have a resilient home record in LaLiga 2025/2026 with nine wins, five draws and only two defeats from 16 matches.
• The Pamplona club have won two, drawn two and lost one of their last five as they prepared for the final stretch of the season.
• Ante Budimir has been their talisman in that run, scoring three of the team’s six recent goals.
• His team can make life tough for the visitors, however, with Alessio Lisci’s structure-first approach since he took charge in July 2025 rarely deviating from the wide build-up and disciplined mid-blocks which have seen them collect so many points at home.
• Osasuna are unbeaten in their last three at home with two wins and a draw, having seen off Sevilla 2-1 in their latest outing in Pamplona prior to losing 1-0 at Athletic Bilbao last weekend.

Barcelona

• Barca sit top of LaLiga with 85 points and should see off Osasuna at El Sadar, but we can expect goals at both ends in what is a fascinating clash of styles.
• Hans-Dieter Flick has turned the Catalans into a team that plays with vertical transitions at breakneck speed, high pressing and can morph between a 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1 to great effect.
• His tweaks to the system, which began in May 2024, have seen Barca win their last five in a row with back-to-back away and home wins over Getafe (2-0) and Espanyol (4-1) putting them top of the standings with 85 points from 33 games compared to Osasuna’s 42 in ninth.
• Barca have won 11 and lost only four of their 16 LaLiga away matches, scoring 35 times, but Osasuna are at their best on their own patch so we’ll take Barca to win and both teams to score rather than backing the odds-on away win.
