Atletico Tucuman
- Atletico Tucuman have won two, drawn three and lost just one of their six home fixtures in the league, with Julio Falcioni’s men looking a lot more difficult to beat since the veteran boss took over in March.
- Falcioni has implemented a more pragmatic approach to the game since taking over and Tucuman have been much more solid, particularly at home, where they’ve conceded just five goals in six fixtures this season.
- Tucuman have also started to create a few chances, particularly from set pieces and counter attacks, and they’ve been getting some decent service from the likes of Clever Ferreira, who has scored two of their last five goals.
- Leandro Diaz remains the team’s focal point up top, however, with five in ten for the Liga Profesional - Apertura 2026.
Tigre
- Diego Dabove’s team are much more attack minded, playing at a higher tempo and looking to press in the middle third, rather than sitting deep.
- Dabove has been at the helm since January 2025 and his side have been scoring and conceding at a decent rate, averaging 1.20 goals scored and 1.00 conceded on the road this season.
- However, they have failed to win either of their last two road games, which is a concern for the Matador, who currently occupy 14th place in the Liga Profesional - Apertura 2026 table after taking 17 points from 12 matches.
- David Romero has been in fine form for Tigre this term with six goals in 11 league matches and has been the talisman for Dabove’s side.
Head-to-Head
- Tigre have won one and drawn one of their last two league matches against Atletico Tucuman.
- Atletico Tucuman are unbeaten in three at home (W2, D1).

Betting Insights
- While Tigre can score goals, they haven’t been quite so prolific on their travels this term, and have looked a bit blunt in their previous two road matches (one draw and one loss).
- The bookmakers have Tigre slightly favoured at 2.85, while Tucuman are 2.68.
- So, with Tucuman defending and Tigre looking to stretch the lines, the Both teams to score - No bet looks like a good option at 1.65.
Prediction
However, as the Decano are unbeaten in their last three at home and have been defensively resolute in those fixtures, the odds are slightly too low and a draw is my top pick in the match result market.
